  • Purchase a tail from one of the professional artisans listed in la Vie Sirene's comprehensive DeTails guide (written 2013, so expect some outdates).  The kind of tail you will most likely want (latex, neoprene, silicone) should fall in the range of $500-3500

  1. Quick question about room occupancy... it says 549 for a double. Is that for the siren and a guest, or is that extra? I never understood that phrasing.

  2. It can be confusing, huh. We go by the cruise industry's criteria and verbiage which means that 2 people stay in a room and each person pays $549. If the extra person is someone not participating in the Siren School event (ie a male) that second person would pay whatever the going rate is for the ship at the time, in this case, starting at right around $300. Feel free to ask me as many questions as you can come up with :) Joy
PS... preferably on Facebook or Google+ ;)

  3. Oookay. So if I wanted my bf to come it would be about 300. I got it. Second question. I've never tried swimming with a tail, how hard is it?

  5. Ugh, I JUST noticed today that my replies sent at the times the above comments were made did not take -- one of the strange glitches of my Chrome browsers interface with Blogger... both of which are owned by Google btw, so you'd think they could get along. Anyway, the cruise runs Fri May 15 - Mon May 18, 2015, so 3 nights total. We're taking signups now for next year actually. Hooray! :) ~Joy
